The Course

In designing a golf course across an extravagant agricultural landscape, architect Jack Fleming knew what he was doing. His inspiration was a setting that plays out like parklands flanked by ag land and leads to the majestic Gabilans. This is a challenging course whose complexities are masked in beauty. It is a formidable yet benevolent host whose guests are compelled to concentrate on the course yet receive welcome distraction from disappointment by a hawk on the wing or the might of an established oak.

The unique setting, in the “salad bowl of the world,” creates a sense of place, shared with an urgent bevy of quail, a curious deer in the shadows, an occasional fox, or a coyote in the canyon. You know you’re in the country.

The course at Crazy Horse Ranch plays differently than a lot of other private courses in the area. This is a beautiful course with a quick pace of play, where you can get in 18 holes in 4 hours or less, or get on for a quick nine on your way home from work. You’ll love the great greens! Schedule a round with your regular foursome or come out by yourself and get in the game.
